The desire to return to normality after overcoming an illness and to find suitable training and employment is great. However, many survivors are confronted with challenges and fundamental issues when it comes to applying for jobs or perhaps changing their career direction later on in life.

It is therefore all the more important to become more aware of your own strengths and weaknesses and to explore different options. This also includes a flawless application dossier and confident interview skills.    

The free service offered by Childhood Cancer Switzerland includes the following:

• Interest test and the creation of a strength profile with a focus both on how others see us and how we see ourselves
• Review of application documents including input on how they can be optimised
• Development of an individual application strategy
• Preparing and training for job interviews
• Career counselling for survivors who want to change their career direction
