Calendar from the heart

Monique Bornhauser, alias Miss Southern Belle, loves the 1940s/1950s – it’s obvious as soon as you see her. She incorporates the style, the fashion, the hairdos, and everything that belongs to the period into her everyday life. Once again, she has produced a calendar with photos of herself as a pin-up model in the style of the 40s and 50s and donated the proceeds from the sale to Childhood Cancer Switzerland. The original idea of giving her husband a creative Christmas present has developed into a creative project with a lot of heart that supports children with cancer throughout Switzerland.

On 27 February, Miss Southern Belle Monique came to visit Childhood Cancer Switzerland in Basel together with her husband Markus. Everybody was amazed to hear from a beaming Monique that almost all the calendars had been sold. Childhood Cancer Switzerland is now to receive the proceeds of 8'350 francs.
