Thirty years of Childhood Cancer Aid Central Switzerland

Advent

The “Advent wreath” for affected mothers has enjoyed great popularity for some years now and has become something of a tradition. Good conversations, sharing ideas and creative work: things that connect women who have been through similar situations with their children. After a short introduction, the prepared foam rings are carefully decorated with various natural materials and candles. There are always plenty of decorative materials available, resulting in a wide variety of Advent wreaths which can then be taken home. A beautiful and enlightening start to the Advent season.

Take a wish – make someone happy

The Porsche Centre Zug and its customers are more than willing to do just that! They take one of the small pieces of paper on which wishes have been written or drawn by children affected by cancer and their siblings, and make their dreams come true. The gifts are handed over at a festive event shortly before Christmas. The atmosphere and the joy in the children’s faces are heart-warming.

Thirtieth anniversary

New year – new programme. This year we are celebrating 30 years of Childhood Cancer Aid Central Switzerland. The association has been supporting children affected by cancer and their families in Central Switzerland since 1995. Financially, but also immaterially. Wherever it is particularly necessary. Wherever it does good. For moments of joy – despite everything.

Fathers took centre stage at the first event of this anniversary year: their marksmanship was tested in archery. After a warm-up, there was a team competition at the end. After all their concentration of trying to hit the target, the culinary part was not to be neglected. It was a sporty and sociable evening – right on target!
