Illuminated hearts at the City Run Basel

Thousands of hearts will light up Basel’s city centre and, above all, the hearts of the people on 18 November. If you don’t know how to help: if you are running in the city run, simply wear the illuminated heart of the popular #ZeigeHerz (Show a Heart) campaign over the finish line or alternatively wear one as a spectator.

This is how we can show solidarity with children with cancer and their families. Donations will be collected at Münsterplatz and on www.zeige-herz.ch. The Basler Kantonalbank is once again supporting the campaign with a donation of 5 Swiss francs for every person crossing the finishing line with a red illuminated heart. This is the first year that the heart mascot from the Basel Region Childhood Cancer Foundation (Regio Basiliensis) is making its first appearance and it is looking forward to lots of selfies with all the visitors to the event.

The donations collected will go entirely to families affected by cancer.
