Support in the Basel region

When a child has to be hospitalised for a longer period of treatment, many parents wonder where they can stay. Not all families live close to the University Children’s Hospital Basel, and daily journeys are often an additional burden.

Our foundation has a flat close to the hospital that parents can use free of charge in this challenging situation. It enables mothers and fathers to be close to their child without having to worry about long travelling times or high accommodation costs. The flat is a secure haven where families can come to rest and recharge their batteries – regardless of their financial situation.

The flat for parents is just one of many projects that we support. Our foundation is also involved in the areas of financial relief for affected families, projects to improve the quality of life, psycho-oncological care and research.
