A powerful message with the #GoldenSeptemberChallenge
This year’s #GoldenSeptemberChallenge has successfully raised awareness of childhood cancer on social media. The campaign centred on the hashtag #MiniMightyCancerFighters, which achieved a wide reach through numerous posts on social networks.
The aim of the campaign was to raise awareness of the situation of children with cancer through creative online contributions and to collect donations at the same time. Supporters of the campaign reached a wide audience by sharing pictures and moving personal stories in golden yellow posts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
The donations collected from the social media campaign will now be used for important projects in the field of childhood cancer research and for direct offers of help. The #GoldenSeptemberChallenge impressively demonstrated how digital networking mobilises people for a common cause.
